CMUA Capitol Day 2020

About Capitol Day

You are in the best position to talk with legislators about the direct impact of state actions on your community.

We need you to participate in CMUA’s advocacy efforts, learn more about trends and priorities, and meet face-to-face with state lawmakers on the big issues California’s publicly owned electric utilities and water agencies will confront in 2020. Capitol Day is where CMUA members join together and advocate with a unified message about the positive impacts of locally owned utilities.

Who Should Attend

  • Leaders and staff of community-owned electric utilities and water agencies
  • Mayors, city council and board members
  • Affiliated persons who support CMUA members to advocate for the concerns of community-owned electric utilities and water agencies

Let's Make Our Voices Heard

At Capitol Day, CMUA provides the resources, connections and collective power to make sure the strong voices of community-owned electric utilities and water agencies are heard in Sacramento. This is a popular event with many CMUA members joining together to deliver our important messages on behalf of our communities.
