KMPUD was established in 1985 and services electric, propane and water connections.
Las Virgenes Municipal Water District, established in 1958, provides potable water, wastewater treatment, recycled water and biosolids composting to more than 75,000 residents within a 122 square-mile area in the cities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Westlake Village, and unincorporated areas of western Los Angeles County.
Mesa Water District supplies water to 110,000 residents in an 18-square-mile area. The service area includes Costa Mesa, parts of Newport Beach, and some unincorporated areas of Orange County, including John Wayne Airport.
