California POUs Win NWPPA Excellence in Communications Awards
Six publicly owned utilities from California were recognized with Excellence in Commjunications awards from the Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA), during the Northwest Communications & Energy Innovations Conference in Tulalip, Wash., on Tuesday, September 17.
The categories were divided into four groups, with Group A utilities having the smallest number of
customers and Group D having the largest.
In addition to the award winners listed below, Roseville Electric Utility and Silicon Valley Power won People's Choice awards for photography.
Group D: 2nd place -- Silicon Valley Power (Outlet); 3rd place: Turlock Irrigation District (The Wire)
Group D: 3rd place -- SMUD (SMUD Cares Campaign)
