Deputy Director of Statewide Water and Energy
The Deputy Director of Statewide Water and Energy reports to the Director of the Department of Water Resources and will be responsible for providing Executive-level oversight and guidance for the implementation of the Strategic Reliability Reserve Program and statewide energy-related management policies and plans where there is a nexus with water management policies. This position is a member of DWR's Executive team and will advise the Director, Lead Director, other Executive staff, and DWR leadership on major water and energy policy matters affecting the State of California.
