Burbank Water and Power (BWP) is a vertically integrated, community owned municipal utility serving the City of Burbank, California. The Assistant General Manager - Utility Administrative Services is an important member of BWP
’s Executive Leadership Team, an equal peer to the other AGMs in the organization, and the expert on the team for human resource related issues. Assisted by an 18-person administrative team, they perform complex administrative and managerial duties related to human resources management; diversity, equity, and inclusion; labor relations; employee training and development; environmental health and safety; employer branding and marketing; recruitment and onboarding; employee retention, classification and compensation; salary studies and analysis; employee discipline; and workplace investigations. The ideal candidate is a human resources all-star with the passion, vision, and drive to make BWP an employer of choice in the water and power industries. They are strategic and collaborative. They are a skilled administrator, an effective communicator, and an inspirational leader.
Salary: $136,278 - $179,206/year, DOQ, plus benefits.
