Burbank Water and Power (BWP) is a vertically integrated, community owned municipal utility serving the City of Burbank, California. BWP
’s mission is safely providing affordable, reliable and sustainable utility services to the community.
The Manager, Customer Service Operations plans, develops, coordinates, and directs all customer service functions of BWP that involve utility billing and accounting, credit and collections, the call center, and field services.
The ideal candidate is a customer focused and empathetic leader with strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a growth mindset. They are results oriented and data driven. They an energetic collaborator who is highly organized, flexible, and willing to roll up their sleeves to drive results.
The best qualified candidate is adept at preparing and reviewing statistical and operating reports, developing and administering budgets, and responding to escalated customer situations and inquiries.
